abandonded miami marine stadium

my friend and I went to the infamous abandoned miami marine stadium this past week. we had to sneak past construction workers (it's going through a "revival" [???]) and finessed our way onto the property unnoticed. there was insane artwork everywhere. literally covering every surface. the stadium's been abandoned for a little over a decade and was pretty dilapidated/creepy both in appearance and smell. but at the same time it was gorgeous, serene, dangling over the ocean.

just as we were about to leave, a police officer caught us and dragged us to his squad car. he told us that we were trespassing, that it was a felony, and that he was supposed to arrest us. he was just trying to prove a point and ended up being genuinely sweet. I swear we could have stayed twice as long and still wouldn't have admired half the graffiti.

spring break p.2

this is half of a colored roll that ripped inside of my camera as I was rewinding it. no idea how that happened :( so the photos are kind of fucked up and exposed along the edges. these were a couple pictures that turned out alright from the rest of my spring break at home and ultra music festival. I only went friday night, not the optimal film conditions (nighttime) but it was definitely a lot of fun. sad I couldn't stick around longer.
