photo II: relationships

this project just came about over time. it began with this vague idea of "dependency," which was going to describe both positive and negative aspects of what it means to be dependent on other people or inanimate things like substances. I wanted to show compromise, good and bad.

but it grew into a kind of catalog of my relationship at the time. there are aspects of dependency and vulnerability of course, but it's more of a narrative. it's an intimate perspective into how we interact when we are alone, how we navigate the world as lovers.  I had a lot of fun with this because I'm constantly taking pictures of zach anyways, he's an awesome muse.

I know it's been a while since I've posted anything new. these are some pictures from the end of the fall semester, some from thanksgiving break. I've gotten comfortable with being more "intimate" with photography. I credit this mainly to self-timer and my lack of resources lol

ohio

I visited zach in the beginning of june. his family was kind enough to host me, and I got to see everything there is to see in northeast ohio. we went to hudson, the west side market (which was the shit), the lake erie pier, wildwater kingdom, coventry, and tremont to name a few places. zach gave me a personal tour of the launchhouse space, and taught me how to skip stones across creeks in the gorgeous metropolitan parks. 

we ate incredible food at one-of-a-kind restaurants. we watched insane movies snuggled on the couch (with gourmet popcorn at hand.)  we night-scootered all around his neighborhood in solon. we laughed, filmed vines, and listened to music like we always do. I met his friends, and spent the greatest 4 days I can remember exploring cleveland with my best friend. I wish I could have stayed for another 4 weeks, but we had responsibilities to return to. it was a hard goodbye.
