rue de rochechouart
aside from that, I'm living in a studio near montmartre paris. this is the first time I've ever lived alone like this (sans roommate/host parent) & I absolutely love it. I have so much freedom to do my work & make things I've always wanted to. during my time in paris I've started writing & recording little tunes under the moniker ultra doux & I'm taking so many more photos of nothing. since moving from the 5th to the 9th arrondissement, I've gotten to explore so much more of paris than I ever could during the semester. leaving rue de rochechouart is going to be really hard.

amsterdam
heather & I went to amsterdam in mid-june. besides the insane australian dudes/coke/group sex fiasco in our hostel, it was a lovely & relaxing time. if we were there any longer I would have gained 30 pounds eating poffertjes (mini dutch pancakes so good alskdlasf;l)

primavera sound
I went to music festival primavera sound in barcelona w a good friend & met so many awesome people. we danced all night, watched the sunrise over the beach, died & came back to life to james blake's performance. wish I had more photos but my phone/disposable camera were stolen the first night...lol. nonetheless it was one of the best weekends of my life. who's coming w me next year :-)?

morocco: azilal
one of the days we were in morocco, ana, robbie & I decided to visit les cascades d'ouzoud. our concierge told us it was a 2 hour drive away but we discovered en route that it was actually somewhere around 4 hours away lol. but I can't complain bc the drive through the countryside was breathtaking. we kept stopping for our driver to take cigarette breaks (which he called "picture time") & saw a local market, kids playing soccer, fields of endless poppies. our driver even picked flowers w me hehe
seeing the waterfalls was a wild experience. our guide was hilarious & so full of energy, tho he didn't appreciate ana choosing real madrid over barcelona. I said a few prayers in the cold water & am very thankful for these memories. these pictures can't even do it justice.
