governor's ball

went to governor's ball this year with a couple friends. the weather was amazing and the strokes + jack white + grimes (such a fun set) + ratking +james blake + earl sweatshirt + tyler the creator + chance the rapper + etc etc etc were there. everyone was dope. here are a few pictures I have from the rare occasion that I could actually see the stages.

2 weeks

columbia kicked us out of housing may 16th and our sub-letter didn't move out of her apartment until june 1st, so kelatz and I floated around nyc for about 2 weeks. we stayed with sterling in manhattan for a week, then with jerry in bushwick. craziest/haziest fucking 2 weeks. these are some of the calmer moments.

gathering of nations

this past april, tia and 22 other contestants competed for the title of "miss indian world" at the gathering of nations. this was my first time at a huge pow wow outside of florida (also my first time in new mexico!) the dancers, food, and vendors were dope. tia did extremely well, we were all v proud of her.
