governor's ball 2013
this year, governor's ball was a little hectic. the first day, it was was pouring, windy, and below 60 degrees. there was mud up to everyone's shins, water was pouring down inclinations left and right, and no one person was remotely dry. it literally rained nonstop the entire day. sadly, beach house, kings of leon, and pretty lights couldn't perform because it was too dangerous. the other two days were beautiful, and so so fun. I was front row for twin shadow which was an experience.
kings of leon rescheduled for saturday, I FINALLY got to see grizzly bear and best coast, and some random magazines took our pictures (lol have yet to find them online.) because of the rain, my entire backpack was soaked, including my camera. the film got a little messed up, but some pictures were salvaged. shouts out to tia for coming all the way to NYC to enjoy this festival with me :)

ohio
I visited zach in the beginning of june. his family was kind enough to host me, and I got to see everything there is to see in northeast ohio. we went to hudson, the west side market (which was the shit), the lake erie pier, wildwater kingdom, coventry, and tremont to name a few places. zach gave me a personal tour of the launchhouse space, and taught me how to skip stones across creeks in the gorgeous metropolitan parks.
we ate incredible food at one-of-a-kind restaurants. we watched insane movies snuggled on the couch (with gourmet popcorn at hand.) we night-scootered all around his neighborhood in solon. we laughed, filmed vines, and listened to music like we always do. I met his friends, and spent the greatest 4 days I can remember exploring cleveland with my best friend. I wish I could have stayed for another 4 weeks, but we had responsibilities to return to. it was a hard goodbye.
**I'm missing a roll of film that will hopefully resurface & find its way to this post in the future**
